Acuvue TruEye
Lately, my eyes have become intolerant to contact lenses. I've been wearing glasses pretty much every day since I've been to the eye specialist :( tired of looking like a nerd all the time.
My friend Nancy, who's an optometrist suggested daily contact lenses. So I got these babies!
1-day Acuvue TruEye.
With high water and oxygen content, they feel like wearing nothing at all. And the best part is, if I'm tired and already in bed, I don't have to get up and go fuss around with solution!
But at $50aud for a pack of 30 lenses, they're a little pricey, but it's for your eyes.
I'm pretty sure the intolerance was due to those Korean geo deuba w/e they're called contact lenses. They were quite horrible on the eyes. I have been wearing contacts for over 10 years and my eyes were fine until I started wearing them :( Now I can never go back to wearing contacts everyday. D:

New camera!
Terms and agreements for uploading images now? o_o... fishy
Last week I went to JB hi-fi with my parents, long story short, he bought a Nikon D90 and I got a D60 which was on sale!
Quick review - At first there were a couple of things I didn't really like about the D60. First of all there is no live preview, i.e. you HAVE to use the view finder when taking images. Secondly, the LCD seems to be on battery-save overdrive, and turns off if you stop doing anything for a split second! And there is no movie mode, however that didn't really bother me.
But as I got to using the camera, I'm starting to like it more and more. It could just be what we learned as the mere-exposure effect. No pun intended :o
Anyway, it takes gorgeous pictures. Compared to my dad's D90, other than size, the photos did not differ in any way. So at my level of expertise, I would say that the D60 is perfect in terms of function and affordability.
Now, compared to my old Sony f717... quality wise, Nikon fails completely. I never took to appreciating how well the F717 was made until now. The parts (Japanese) were so fine and delicate whereas the Nikon is more like a heavy-duty off-road camera. Not to mention the body is made in Thailand and the Lenses are actually made in China :/ bit of a bummer. I was a little careless when buying but who would expect a Japanese camera to be made in Thailand. Sigh
Anyway, the F717 is an old uncle now. It's only 5 mp and ISO only goes up to 600/800 (I forget). A little run-down, the white balance also goes a little nuts at the best of lighting conditions.

new clinique eyeliners~
I prefer Clinique for eye make-up because they're usually always ophthalmologist tested. Fancy word... really just means the formula is easy on your eyes.
The top one is the Clinique brush-on cream liner. When I first saw the jar I thought they gave me the wrong colour, it looks maroon... but upon application the colour is in fact very dark. It has great staying power also. Once set, it will not budge, not even with a little bit of water.
The bottom one is the water-resistant eyeliner in powder formula. Kind of ironic that a water resistant product requires water to be applied...
anyway, this product is quite thin... I'm not a huge fan. It requires quite a few apps to become that light grey in the picture. It is slightly water resistant but does rub off a little over time.
I'd say its a great 'grey' eyeliner, definitely not black...

New Specs
trying my best to look sexy...
I've been wanting a pair of these for ages!
Finally got them yesterday :D
They're still quite painful on my ears but its slowly adjusting.
Also, for some reason my old glasses made things appear further than they are but these don't so I'm having abit of trouble adjusting depth...
Garman says I look like 'siu wun' XD

I'm back!
Been hankering for some blogging lately but I've made so darn many, wasn't sure which one I wanted to post in D:
Since this one is linked to my main gmail, I think I will just post in this one from now on.
A friend went to the states last week and I asked her to bring me back a couple of dresses from Forever 21¬ I quite like them! Exactly what I was looking for, but couldn't find here :( not for a decent price anyway.
She also got me some Victoria's secret panties and body lotion (not pictured)!!
